Grand Master Lee's favorite part of teaching martial arts revolves around the student-teacher relationship. Most of his entire life has been dedicated to martial arts; while training in multiple martial arts, he has mastered them all. Even though he has achieved so much, he continues to train and better himself, making training alongside his students a central part of his teaching method.

Due to her extensive commitment and dedication to the art of Taekwondo, Grand Master Shin received a full scholarship throughout high school and college. Having specialized in Olympic-style sparring, she gained entry into a professional team. She loves teaching because it is so rewarding to see her students’ efforts and triumphs.

Master James Park is the Headmaster of Hwarang Taekwondo, leading the Nanuet location. He began training at age 10 and has over 13 years of teaching experience in the art of Taekwondo. Although he enjoyed the competitive aspect of martial arts, his pride and passion lie in teaching.

We offer classes for all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are tailored to different skill levels and goals.
No prior experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced martial artists looking to refine their skills.
Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first class. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you on getting a uniform and gear.
We recommend attending at least two classes per week for steady improvement, but you can train more frequently based on your goals.
We go beyond physical training to focus on building strong character. Our program is rooted in the values of loyalty, discipline, and perseverance helping students grow into confident, respectful individuals both on and off the mat. We teach not just technique, but the mindset and spirit of true martial artists.
